We are a diverse community and yet one committed to faith and to the church. The Department offers courses of study in Biblical, Historical, and Theological Studies at the graduate and undergraduate levels as well as courses in Practical Studies and World Religions at the undergraduate level. In these courses and in other activities, students and faculty join together in pursuit of truth. Religion is central to contemporary life and so the study of Religion makes a difference. Our undergraduate program in religion invites students to inquire more deeply into the Christian faith, to gain an enhanced appreciation of the contributions of Christianity to the development of twenty-first century culture, and to prepare for life-long lay or career ministry. |
